Welcome,

My name is Tyler. I'm a pilot and flying is the passion my life & all I have ever done.  That all almost
changed the summer of 2004.  I was diagnosed with stage II Testicular Cancer on July 1, 2004 at the
age of 33.  My life was turned upside down but also saved at the same time.

When I found out I had testicular cancer, I was angry, scared, hurt, and worried for my family.  As I
experienced the treatments, side effects, the ups and the downs, the more I wanted to fight. Since
recovering & making the decision to take back control of my health, I have taken up the hardest sport
there is - triathlon.  Triathlon's have become my way to stay in shape.

MY MESSAGE:
Is that all of us are much more capable of achieving our goals then we may think.  You must know
you can do it rather than think you can.  Stop waiting for "Someday..."  to come.

MY GOAL:
1.  Invite you to help the Lance Armstrong Foundation & their efforts to help fight cancer.
2.  Document my triathlon experiences & spotlight person(s) that inspire change.
3.  Inspire you to make a change before you are forced to make a change.

Thank you in advance for your time & generosity.  Helping today will help someone tomorrow.

My story at the LAF Foundation.
Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour,
or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside
and something else will take its place. If I quit it
lasts forever.
