I've posted some of them below.
Hi Tyler!
This is Heather Campbell. I was so touched by your story, so i decided to say hello. I was happy
to see that you reached your dream of becoming a pilot. Way to go! I remember in high school
that you loved airplanes. I am a registeted nurse, and work with geriatric residents. My
husband, Joe, was diagnosed with stage III B non-hodgkins lymphoma in May 2003. He received
chemotherapy for 6 months and has been cancer free thus far. I pray that you too remain in good
health. I wish you much success in reaching your goal for the Lance Armstrong Fondation.
Thank you for accepting my donation in your support.
Sincerly,
Your High School Friend

Hey Tyler, Mike from the TC forum. I finally read the message you sent me back in Mar! Man,
you're awesome with the comeback! I could never do a TRI, road races are my thing... Anyway,
where are you in most need of a donation these days...the Marathon or the Armstrong
foundation? I'm thinking the Marathon as that's your immediate goal! Let me know man; now I
gotta make a decision..contemplate my RPLND scar or run...I think I'll jog.

Jetpack,
I was introduced to you through Zen, and wanted to say hi. Your story is very inspiring,
congratulations!! I really enjoy reading about you, and watching your video's etc...I did my first
triathlon on August 27th this year. Amazing!! What a coincidence. Anyways...Have a great day, and
best of luck in the marathon.

Tyler,
My name is Betsy and I think you are just so awesome. I love the work you posted. I also work
the same schedule you do but I work on movie sets....so I missed the run today after an 18 hour
day. Man! I hope you had a wonderful birthday. I have read about you and I want to just add that
it's an absolute pleasure to run the same race as you on November 5th. In fact, it's an honor.
We don't run a marathon for the glory. We run for the opportunity. I am not the fastest runner on
this team but I don't mind. It's an opportunity I have. I seized it. As you also do. So, thank you. I
am inspired by you and hope to meet you in person again. (I met you so very briefly a few weeks
back...) You keep soaring up there and down here...and I will do the same (down here, that is!)
Warmest regards,
Betsy Palmieri

Hey Tyler!
Just wanted to let you know that your words helped me get through my second 1/2 marathon
today. I've been listening to your podcasts, and I remembered you telling Kelley to break the half
into four 5k runs. Every 3 miles I would tell myself... ok, I'm 1/4 done, 1/2 done 3/4 done! (This race
was a lot harder than my first!) I also remember you saying that if this was easy, we wouldn't be
doing it. I reminded myself of that several times! :) Thanks for keeping me motivated and moving!

Tyler,
I just watched your movie on You Tube about your battle with cancer and transformation to an
Ironman and I was really touched. I wanted to write because I loved the movie, but also because I'm
doing IM Wisconsin this year, too! First time for me at that distance, but I've found some important
inspiration through fundraising and been leaning on the tri-blogging crew (that clearly you're
hooked into) for help and support.
Take care,
Jayme (aka, IM Able)

Hey Jetpack,
I love the podcasts. They keep me going during training. I'm looking forward to competing
in my first Tri in the next few months, and seeing where you started from I know that I can
make a
real go of it!
